Why Join Advanced Expressions?
AdvEx is a truly unique club and here is why:
Weekly Meetings
At toastmasters everyone learns at their own pace. We want our members to have the opportunity to deliver prepared speeches as frequently as they wish. That is why we choose to hold weekly meetings (and not biweekly or monthly).
Unique Mix
Advanced Expressions Toastmasters started as an advanced club. In November of 2004 we opened our doors to speakers of all levels. As a result we have a unique mix of advanced, intermediate, and beginner speakers. To this day our doors are open to everyone.
President's Distinguished Club
We are a President's Distinguished Club. In order to become a President's Distinguished Club, a club must meet at least 9 out of 10 requirements set by Toastmasters International. We met all 10 in our very first year!
How to Join
We are currently open to all. Becoming a member is easy. Just attend one of our meetings and apply for a membership. Once you register you can begin giving your project speeches. Feel free to email us at with any questions.
Costs
New-Member Fee: $20 one-time
If you have never joined a Toastmasters club before you will have to pay a one-time new-member fee. This fee is paid to Toastmasters International and covers costs such as processing the application for membership, the New Member Kit.
Annual Dues: $54.00
Annual dues help cover the costs of operation of Toastmasters International such as administrative costs and costs of educational programs and services to members.
Club Dues: $24 annually
Club dues cover costs associated with running a Toastmasters club. Compare these costs to those of a public speaking course and join us at our next meeting. |
